What customers say about Repel and Berryessa
RCPA have been using Repel 64 since 2005 on our cast iron pallets for all our pipe sizes (225mm to 900mm) both in Rubber & Flush joints. RCPA have trialled numerous other Brands but have always returned to Repel 64 for the best results and consistency. In all my years of experience in the concrete pipe industry, people stand out for their great qualities and Richard Maerschel the Director and Chemist of Berryessa Pty Ltd is one of those people. He is well known throughout the industry in Australia for his work ethic, team work and diligence towards the customer’s satisfaction in using Berryessa’s products. Performance of the Berryessa products is always paramount and whenever we have a new line of product Richard and his team are there first to offer you any assistance no matter when or where you are located.

I can’t tell you how much this Repel 64 has made my job easier. We make the best pipe sockets in the world, with less damage, no fumes, and no wire brushing. Nothing else works remotely as well as Repel 64.

We had been looking for a “diesel free solution” for our units and Richard Maerschel and staff at Berryessa were most helpful in finding a solution. We wanted an environmentally responsible product which was water based. PumperDump recommends Repel 26 and has found Berryessa a very professional company to deal with.

We have been using Repel 64 continuously for over four years for making high permeability concrete retaining walls. Repel 64 suits our purposes very well. We will never go back to a diesel based release agent. Our whole site looks, feels and smells so much better.

Back in 1996 the first Besser BiDi Concrete Pipe plant was installed in Australia to produce thin walled pipe. One of our challenges was to find a release agent which worked on the socket forming pallet that didn’t leave concrete or any residue coatings. In the first year of production many types and brands of release agents where trialled with no real success. In fact we had to develop an automated wire buff to clean pallets prior to use (a laborious, arduous and expensive task). Along came Repel 64. Problem solved!! Now, nearly 20 years later we are still using the product. Very Satisfied Client!! Thanks Richard.

We supply scaffolding and ancillary building materials to the construction industry including many major projects. Dynaton has an on-going need for a cost effective release agent for plywood forms used to contain on-site concrete pours. Berryessa’s Repel 60F release agent suits this purpose very well and is rapidly gaining acceptance by our customers. It is water-based which offers health, safety and environmental benefits to users – it does not burn, has minimal odour, and washouts can safely go into the sewer.
Richard Price. Dynaton Sales and Hire.
We have used Repel 64 as a release agent on our Pallets within our concrete pipe manufacturing facility since early 2014. I have found the product to be a valuable part of our process as we no longer need to patch the product due to the finish being vastly improved and the pallet easily removed, thus vastly reducing cleaning times. Repel 64 leaves no residue on the pallets nor the floor, which we experienced with previous products. We are very happy with the product and would not hesitate in recommending it.
